The campsite is surrounded by a fascinated diverse landscape. Forests, sand drifts, heath lands and country estates at short distance. An ideal place to start nice cycling- and hiking routes.

Staying the night near the water
De Koeksebelt is build with care and excellent taken care of. Our campsite has shielded, spacious plots for tents, caravans and motor homes. A part of these plots is beautiful situated at the shores of the Vecht. You can use our luxurious heated sanitary units. At our campsite you can rent our special River Kota (original Finnish lodge), River Cabin, River Lodge or a comfortable furnished safaritent. These accommodations are suitable for 3 and 6 persons.
Excellent facilities
Campsite De Koeksebelt has excellent facilities. You will find for example a canteen with cozy terrace, campsite shop and playgrounds at each camping field and an enthusiastic animation team for young and old. We offer our guests even cooking facilities. You have many possibilities to get sportive. We have a sports field, tennis courts and volleyball fields. You can rent a bike or canoe at our campsite. Our guests get free tickets for the swimming pool of Ommen. The swimming pool is at 900 meters distance of the campsite and easy accessible by foot.
Much to do on the Vecht
The situation of the campsite at the shore of the Vecht makes that there is a lot to do on the river during high season. The water trampoline is loved by the young people and there can be beautiful canoe tours made. Also fishing is great. There are over 40 species of fish in the river.
