Surrounded by forest and water
The campsite is situated in the middle of the afforested surrounding of a wide and beautiful national park, directly to the Brielse Meer, at short distance from sea. The campsites surrounding is unique. Everything you can wish for, can be found at short distance. Water can be find everywhere, at lakes and beaches. There are countless possibilities to enjoy the real nature. Culture can be found in the historical cities like Brielle and Hellevoetsluis. Also the big city Rotterdam is within reach.
Lots of space and lots of attention for nature
You have all the space you need at campsite De Krabbeplaat. The campsite is elongated and the plots are all big. The pitches all have electricity, CATV connection and water within walking distance. Sanitary is always nearby and will be kept clean at all times. Our campsite has special facilities for mobile homes. Also furnished tents, lodges and permanent caravans can be rented. For larger groups from 20 up to even 450 people De Krabbeplaat has a special field available. At De Krabbeplaat is lots of attention for nature. Bird feeders can be find all over the campsite and we have special plants for butterflies. Also old fruit trees can be found at out campsite.
There is something to do everywhere
Our campsite has many facilities. The campsite itself is situated directly at the Brielse Meer. A large recreational lake, where all sorts of water sports are possible. Swimming, sailing, paddle boats, canoeing, fishing or just strolling along the beach. We also have our own harbour with school for water skiing. There are extensive sport- and game facilities, a children’s farm, recreation room, a supermarket for your daily groceries and a snackbar.
